September 2007

·   Sept 19: 11:30am-1:00 pm Kickoff Meeting will be a Lunch Meeting at Comfort Suites. Sgt. Rick Smiedendorf of the St. Joseph Police Department will make a presentation on workplace violence.

October 2007

·   Oct 17: 11:30am- 1:00pm Monthly Lunch Meeting at M-TEC in Benton Harbor, Room MT 134. Infinisource will make a presentation on "Wellness in the Workplace".  All's well that starts well: Practical and Legal Issues with Wellness Programs.  400 Klock Road.

November 2007

·   Nov 14: 11:30am-1:00 pm Monthly Lunch Meeting at Comfort Suites. Mr. Scott Johnson from The Healy Group will make a presentation on developing job descriptions that meet ADA and FSLA requirements.

December 2007

·   Dec 12: 5:00pm-8:00pm Holiday Social Hour. Papa Vino's 1332 Hilltop Rd., St. Joseph, Michigan.

January 2008

·   Jan 9: 11:30am-1:00 pm Monthly Lunch Meeting at Comfort Suites. State Representative John Proos - Rep. Proos was elected to the Michigan House in November 2004 to represent the 79th district in northern Berrien County.  He will present a legislative update.

February 2008

·   Feb 20: 11:30am-1:00 pm Monthly Lunch Meeting at Comfort Suites. Mr. Mike Palmer, Barnes & Thornburg, will present ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) Raids, How to Prepare Your Company For One.

March 2008

·   Mar 19: 11:30am-1:00 pm Monthly Lunch Meeting at Comfort Suites. Carrie Van Daele will present topic - Labor Crunch Crisis.

April 2008

·   Apr 16: 11:30am-1:00 pm Monthly Lunch Meeting at Comfort Suites. Presentation on How To Avoid HR Burnout - How to Handle HR Stressors and Challenges.  Presenter is Raelene Stickney, MA, CEAP, Manager of Lakeland Employee Assistance Services.

May 2008

·   Sept 27: 11:30am-1:00 pm Kickoff Meeting at the LMC M-TEC Center. Bob Harrison will present Community Involvement as an Employee Motivator.

October 2006

·   Oct 18: 11:30am- 1:00pm Monthly Lunch Meeting at Comfort Suites. Dr. Shaefer will present How to Get Your Workers Comp Doctor to Think Like an Employer.

November 2006

·   Nov 8: 11:30am-1:00 pm Monthly Lunch Meeting at Comfort Suites. Jerry Lutkus, Barnes & Thornburg, will present Electronic Privacy Issues.

December 2006

·   Dec 13: 5:00pm-8:00pm Holiday Social Hour. Papa Vino's 1332 Hilltop Rd., St. Joseph, Michigan.

·   December 14: 1:00-3:00pm HRC will be partnering with Cornerstone Alliance for a Workers Comp Seminar presented by Kathie Vaught, Michigan Economic Development Corporation Workers Comp Specialist at Cornerstone Chamber Office on Wall Street in Benton Harbor.

January 2007
